From Web Developer to Freelance Writer
Before becoming a full-time freelance writer, I was a web developer, creating websites for clients using a variety of frontend and backend languages. While I enjoy coding and experimenting with different languages, especially JavaScript, writing has always been my passion.
Midway through my web development career, I started writing tutorials for a popular web developer tutorial website. The tutorials led to an opportunity to write for ProgrammableWeb, formerly the top source of news and information about APIs. I was a freelance contributor to the popular API news site for more than six years. At the end of 2014, I decided to become a full-time freelance writer. MuleSoft retired the ProgrammableWeb website in February 2023.
