Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently asked questions about how to get started with your writing project.

Do you require that clients make a long term commitment?

No, I do not require that clients make a long-term commitment when it comes to collaborating on content. Although, I strive to build valuable long-term relationships with all of my clients. I'm happy to work with you on a single, standalone project or on an "as needed" basis.

I understand that some companies may be hesitant about working with new writers. For new clients, I will work on a small first project (paid) to see how well we work together. If the project goes well, we can make arrangements for recurring work over a set length of time.

What do you need from a client to get started?

Once the client approves the quote, a written agreement outlining the scope of the work is signed by both parties. The written agreement can be provided by myself or by the client.

A 50% payment up front is usually required for the first project with a new client and large projects. Once the agreement has been signed by both parties and the 50% down payment has been received, I will start working on the project.

I do not require a down payment for projects requested by established clients.
