Do you use AI to write content?
I do not use AI for writing. I personally write every piece of content I deliver to clients. However, I do use AI-powered tools such as Wordtune for error checking - e.g., grammar, spelling, syntax, and punctuation. I also use large language models (LLMs) like Gemini, Le Chat, Copilot, and Claude to streamline various writing and marketing tasks without compromising quality. These tasks include limited research, generate topic ideas, suggest outline edits and draft edits, and help with optimizing content.
Is the content you provide optimized for search engines (SEO)?
I follow SEO best practices when writing content. For example, I'll:
Place keywords where they would occur naturally.
Format and structure the content so both humans and machines can easily read and understand it.
Cite and link to authoritative and trustworthy external sources.
Add internal links to related pages on the website.
Ensure content is helpful to the reader and demonstrates genuine expertise.
Support statements with quantitative first or third-party data.
Is the content you provide optimized for AI (generative engines)?
Generative engine optimization (GEO) is a relatively new concept that refers to a process for optimizing content to boost its visibility in search engine AI overviews, AI references, and large language model (LLM) outputs.
At the time of this writing, there is no industry-wide, agreed-upon set of best practices for GEO. However, most of the best practices you would follow for SEO you would also do for GEO.
GEO involves using specialized techniques to help increase the chances generative engines will use and reference your content. For example, I can optimize the content for SEO and then apply GEO techniques, such as:
Tailor the content so it matches specific types of user queries, e.g., informational, commercial, navigational.
Provide comprehensive information that accurately addresses user queries.
Include keywords and phrases that align semantically with the topic and the intent of the user.
Use precise terminology that is relevant to the industry and provides context to the AI model.
Can you help us update and optimize existing content for AI?
Yes, I can help you refresh and optimize your existing content so it has a better chance of showing up in AI (generative engine) results. Better visibility in generative engines increases the chances your target audience will find your content and become more aware of your brand.
